The trend started in the North, in Basque country. Here you you can walk into a bar and upon ordering the national drink you are presented with a cart teeming with gin and tonic options to create your very own. And this drink will not be served in a tall, skinny glass with mediocre ice – no! This is where the fanfare comes in!

The Perfect G&T at Yard 32 Malta

First your bartender pulls out a super large balloon glass. The shape of the glass helps enhances the gin’s aromas. The glass is filled with large dense ice cubes so they melt slowly in your drink. Then he stirs in the gin and tops with tonic. Finally he chooses just the right garnish, one that will complement the botanicals of the gin.

This is why at Yard 32 Malta we want to be a proper gin bar. The first one on the island to give you the possibility to enter into the amazing world of Gin. Here you can choose your preferred brand, but don’’t be stuck on your favourite one… there are so many others waiting to be sampled.
