Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon, surrounded on one side by the golden cliffs of Comino and on the other by Cominotto, is an ideal spot for swimming and snorkelling. The lagoon is roped off to keep boats out, so you may swim out to the island in relative safety. There is a lifeguard on duty during the summer months, however out of season, there may be greater currents, thus caution is urged.

Comino is surprisingly accessible, with ferries departing from many of Malta’s major ports and harbours. In truth, the ferry ride from Cirkewwa on Malta’s main island’s northern point takes only approximately 20 minutes. Many boat cruises also include a stop at the Blue Lagoon.
