Mellieha Bay

Mellieha Bay is one of the most popular beaches on the island, with both locals and visitors enjoying its beautiful views and warm waters during the summer months. As a result, parking a private vehicle might be problematic, thus it’s usually advisable to take advantage of the island’s bus services.

Although observations below the waterline are restricted, the bay remains quite shallow for a long distance, allowing youngsters to play around in the surf and others to try snorkelling in a safe atmosphere.
