Pretty Bay Beach

Pretty Bay Beach is about 200 meters long and is located on the western side of Marsaxlokk Bay’s vast natural harbour. The beach is made up of smooth, light sand and is surrounded by Birzebbuga Town.

Pretty Bay Beach

Pretty Bay Beach is one of just a few sand beaches in Malta’s southern districts, and it was built from sand dredged from the seabed. It contains a football pitch and a children’s playground, and people enjoy the fresh sea air on the promenade that backs onto the sand in the early evening.

Ħaġar Qim Temple

One of the oldest temples in the world, Ħaġar Qim is located in the Hagar Qim Archaeological Park and is renowned for its antiquity. The megalithic temples of Hagar Qim, whose name means “Standing Stone,” are the prehistoric sites that have been preserved the best. The large stone that may be found to the right of the entryway weighs twenty tons.
